First Appearance:– Thor made his debut in "Journey into Mystery" #83 in August 1962. He was created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, and Jack Kirby.
Thor as a Frog:In one comic storyline, Loki turns Thor into a frog. During this time, Thor (as a frog) leads an army of frogs in Central Park against sewer rats and eventually reclaims Mjolnir, temporarily becoming the Frog of Thunder.
Beta Ray Bill:Beta Ray Bill, an alien warrior, was deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir and even defeated Thor in battle. He was later given his own enchanted hammer, Stormbreaker, by Odin.
Thor's Alter Ego:Initially, Thor's human alter ego was Dr. Donald Blake, a disabled doctor who transforms into Thor by striking his walking stick (which becomes Mjolnir) on the ground.
Ultimate Thor:In the Ultimate Marvel Universe (Earth-1610), Thor is portrayed differently, with a more modern and gritty take. He initially appears to be a delusional human claiming to be the Norse god before his true nature is revealed.
Unworthy Thor:In a storyline called "Original Sin," Thor becomes unworthy to lift Mjolnir after learning a whispered secret. During this time, Jane Foster, who is battling cancer, takes up the mantle of Thor.
Thor's Daughter:In an alternate future, Thor has a daughter named Torunn, who appears in the animated film "Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow."
